Responsible for all kitchen functions including food purchasing, preparation and maintenance of quality standards, sanitation and cleanliness, training of employees in methods of cooking, preparation, plate presentation, portion, cost control, and sanitation and cleanliness.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Five(5) or more years of experience in varied kitchen positions including food preparation, line cook, fry cook, and expediter.
  • At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity.
  • Able to communicate effectively with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel, and guests.

Job Description

Maintain high standard of service, sales, staff culture by managing company and store procedures and overseeing daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve 80% or higher sales goals helping to promote in store campaigns, sales and product initiatives.
  • Review Check Lists to ensure completion.
  • Manages and directs the staff employees and shift leads.
  • Review and complete scheduling.
  • Observe and evaluate workers and work procedures to ensure quality standards and service, and complete disciplinary write-ups.
  • Develop staff coaching plans.
  • Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
  • Manage all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs and followed and completed on a timely basis.
  • Ensure that all food and drinks are consistently prepared and served according to recipes, portioning, and serving standards.
  • Conduct Regular floor check backs.
  • Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees.
  • Investigate and resolve escalated customer complaints regarding food quality, wait time, and service.
  • Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure efficient service and conformance to standards.
  • Assign duties, responsibilities, and work stations to employees in accordance with work requirements.
  • Analyze and create solutions for operational problems, such as theft and wastage, and establish procedures to alleviate these problems.
  • Manage and understand kitchen inventory and prep.
  • Initiate weekly team meeting, sales calls, and huddles.
  • Ensure inventory is fully stocked, and FIFO.
  • Be knowledgeable of ALL policies regarding personnel.
  • Perform personnel actions, such as hiring and determining factors for terminating staff, providing employee orientation and training, and conducting interviews.
  • Continually strive to develop staff in all areas of managerial and professional development.
  • Recommend measures for improving work procedures and worker performance to increase service quality and enhance job safety.
  • Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement.
  • Act as public relations and coordinator for community events and public brand ambassador

*Store Managers must complete Food Managers course and all staff must have food handlers card.
